Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance, and my God. -- Psalm 42:11

 

The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord raises up those who are bowed down. -- Psalm 146:8

 

So the ransomed of the Lord will return, and come with joyful shouting to Zion; and everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. -- Isaiah 51:11

 

But Thou, O Lord, art a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. I was crying to the Lord with my voice, and He answered me from His holy mountain. -- Psalm 3:3, 4

I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and give them joy for their sorrow...and my people shall be satisfied with My goodness. -- Jeremiah 31:13, 14

 

Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. -- Psalm 125:5

 

And I saw a new heven and a new earth...And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall no longer be any death; there shall no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain. -- Revelation 21:1, 4

 

He will swallow up death for all time, and the Lord God will wipe tears away from all faces. -- Isaiah 25:8
